As the world is eagerly awaiting the final result of the 2021 Presidential Election held yesterday, Professor Wole Soyinka, Nigerian Nobel laureate, has described Bobi Wine, a presidential candidate as the Face of Democracy for Uganda.
Soyinka, popularly called WS, who is supporting the candidature of Bobi Wine said that he is “fed up” with Africa’s leadership of “sick old men”.
Incidentally, Soyinka’s President in Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari is among the old men ruling the continent. Buhari is alleged to have plundered Nigeria, one of the most densely populated countries in Africa, with over 200 million people in an area of 923,768 km into economic crisis.
