Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Debo Ogundoyin today went on his kneel to make a marriage proposal to his girl friend, who wasted no time in saying yes in acceptance to the proposal.
In his proposal, Ogundoyin said to the lady, “Will you marry me?”, and the lady excitedly said, “yes”.
Speaker Ogundoyin through his face book account excitedly announced that his girl friend said yes to his proposal.
The speaker, who was seeing smiling all through said, “She said YES!!!”
While well wishers have taken to the social media to congratulate the legislator over the development, others feel that it will be unusual for the lady to reject the proposal because of the personality involved.
Among those in this school of thought are Mobolaji Akinola who said, “Why she no go say yes”, Akinrinde Major Abisoye, “I don’t expect a no” and “Harrrrhar 2nd or 3rd wife l don’t understand?”
Born on February 18, 1987, Ogundoyin is the current speaker of the 9th Oyo State House of Assembly and member representing Ibarapa East constituency under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP. He assumed office on June 10, 2019.
