A final year student of the Department of History, Faculty of Arts, University of Ibadan, Ridwan Adedayo Adegoke, has been reportedly killed by suspected armed robbers.
It was gathered that the incident happened at Preboye Complex, Ibadan near the University of Ibadan in the night of Saturday October 16, 2021.
The victim was said to have been robbed of his phone before he was shot.
Ridwan, who was active on Twitter with handle @gokeeadRR, had tweeted few hours before urging Emma ik Umeh (@emmaikumeh) to stay safe when the Lagos PDP Congress became violent, not knowing that he would be killed.
Tributes have continued to pour in for the late Ridwan from his friends on Twitter as they express shock on his sudden demise.
