Goods worth millions, cars, and other items were destroyed today after a clash between commercial motorcyclists, popularly called Okada riders and Igbo traders at the Dei-Dei building material market in Abuja.
It was gathered that the crisis started after a woman fell from a commercial motorbike and was crushed by a trailer.
The woman was said to be Igbo, while the okada rider was Hausa.
This led to the burning of the motorbike and thereafter degenerating into a crisis where members of the commercial bike riders were burning shops in the market.
