The 3rd Nigeria Diaspora Investment Summit (NDIS) 2020 convened by Nigeria Diaspora Summit Initiative (NDSI) in collaboration with Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) and scheduled for November 6-7 2020, has been postponed.
According to a statement signed by the Chairman, Organising Committee, Dr. Badewa Adejugbe-Williams, the move became necessary due to the prevailing situation in the country.
He commiserated with all those who lost loved ones, who are injured and those who lost their properties during this period.
The statement read in part, “In the light of the current situation in the country, the Organising Committee of the 3rd Nigeria Diaspora Investment Summit regretfully informs the general public, in particular, all registered participants and invited guests, that this event has been postponed.
“A new date will be announced as soon as possible. Please stay tuned to our website: http://ndis.gov.ng for further updates.
“We join all well-meaning people in commiserating with all those who lost loved ones, who are injured and those who lost their properties, while praying for the peaceful repose of all who have died during the protests as well as for peace to reign in our beloved country”.
