Following the military attack Russia Government launched against Ukraine, the Ukrainian Ambassador to Kuwait, Oleksandr Balanutsa has described Thursday February 24, 2022, a black day for the Republic of Ukraine.
Balanutsa, in an exclusive interview with Al Jazeera, said that no matter the intensity of attack against Ukraine, Ukrainian Government would not surrender to Russia, saying, “We will never fall. We will never surrender, whatever it takes. We may not be winning at this time but we are strong enough to resist in any possible way. We have the support of our partners, the allies, the international friends and we will be strong enough to fight more… Ukraine is working at all possible layers, all possible levels. Russia did invade Ukraine. Russia did used a numerable missiles and bombs raining on innocent people but we still feel we are strong enough to resist.”
Balanutsa emotionally sought for help from international community.
He said, “We are asking for help. We are crying for help at all levels. We do need more than words and welcoming remarks from international community. I am crying today, please, assist us as much as you can because we need your support.”
