In a bid to provide 20, 000 housing units in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, President Bola Tinubu has kick-started the construction of the Renewed Hope City in Karsana, Abuja.
Tinubu at the ground-breaking event, outlined the project’s implementation through a Public Private Partnership led by the Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development.
The project is anticipated to foster economic growth and create jobs, targeting a significant 500,000 employment opportunities.
According to Tinubu contracts for 200 units across twelve states have been awarded, with plans for Renewed Hope Cities and a National Urban and Slum Upgrading Programme.
