In a bid to rally support for his presidential ambition in the 2023 presidential election, the chieftain of All Progressive Congress (APC) and former governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu, today paid a visit to the self-acclaimed Nigerian Military President, General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida in Niger State.
Tinubu also donated the sum of N50million to the families of the victims of the recent killings in the state.
The two notable Nigerians held a close door meeting, of which its outcome was not revealed to the newsmen.
Decrying the security situation in the country, the astute politician said that Nigeria’s problem could only be fixed by fervent prayer.
Sympathizing with the victims of bandits and other forms of terrorism, the former Lagos State Governor said, ” “We share in your grief, I am here for the people of Niger State, hearing and reading of disasters, banditry and cattle rustling every day, just like what happened on Wednesday again”.
