A Nollywood Actress, Toyin Abraham has expressed shock over the Best Dressed Female Awards given to a Nigerian popular crossdresser, Okuneye Idris Olanrewaju popularly called Bobrisky.
Femi Adebayo announced at the Premiere of Ajanaku: Beast of Two Worlds, held on Sunday, March 25, 2024, at the Circle Mall, Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria, that the Best Dressed Female Award goes to Bobrisky.
Attempting to get the reality of what happened, Toyin, in a state of surprise asked, “Who did you say that won female award?”
When she was told that Bobrisky won the award, she spoke in Yoruba saying, “Se e n siere ni abi n kan n se yin” (are you people not mad?). She again asked who gave the award and people around her chorused Femi Adebayo.
Afterward, she faced Bobrisky and pointed to him saying, “Bobo lo gba best dressed female award” (a man gets female award?). When Bobrisky offered to settle her, she said, “Ti mo ba fun e ni blow” (I will give you punch), and satirically, she demanded N200, 000 cut from the N1 Million attached to the award, which Bobrisky promised to give.
