Justice Uche Agomoh of the Federal High Court and Justice Sherifat Adeyemi of the State High Court, Ibadan, today sentenced three internet fraudsters to different jail terms.
The convicts arraigned by Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), who pleaded “guilty” to the charges preferred against them are: Bandele Olarenwaju John, Aniyikaye Olumide Oluwatope and Chuks Ezeh Melody.
While Bandele and Aniyikaye were sentenced to nine and six month respectively, Chucks was sentenced to one month community service.
Bandele was ordered to give the sum of $780 to his victim as well as asked to forfeit one iPhone 6, and two HP Laptops to the Federal Government.
Also, Aniyikaye was asked to pay the sum of $1,100 in restitution, and forfeits two unregistered Toyota Camry 2008 and 2012 model cars and Chucks forfeited Vivo and Techno F2 Mobile handsets.
