The Registrar, University of Ibadan (UI), Olubunmi O. Faluyi, has revealed that the deadline for the submission of applications for the position of the 13th Vice Chancellor of the institution is July 9, 2020.
Faluyi, in a special release, 4306, dated June 1, 2020, stated, “The University Community is requested to note that the process for the appointment of the next Vice Chancellor (2020-2025) has been set in motion following the approval of Council at its meeting on Monday 18 May, 2020.
“To this end, the advertisement for the position of Vice Chancellor has been published in the University Official Bulletin (Tuesday 19 May, 2020) as well as 3 (three) National Newspapers: The Guardian (Monday, 25 May, 2020), The Punch (Wednesday, 27 May,2020) and Daily Trust (Thursday, 28 May, 2020)”.
She said, “It is important to state that the published advertisement of Thursday 28 May, 2020, in the Daily Trust will serve as when the 6-week deadline for submission by all interested applicants will start counting”.
