A 400 Level female student of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of University of Ibadan, Omopariola Olaoluwa, has reportedly died,
The cause of her demise is not known at the time of filing thus report.
According to the Society of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, University of Ibadan, Omopariola was the Financial secretary elect of the department.
A statement by the association on February 21, 2024 on X read:
It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of Omopariola Olaoluwa.
A respected 400L student and Financial secretary elect. of this Department.
Our thoughts are with Omopariola’s family, friends, and classmates.
