Two days after the University of Ibadan (UI) lost a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Education, Dr Jimoh Audu Michael, the institution lost another academic staff, Professor Sherifah Monilola Wakil, of the Department of Microbiology Faculty of Sciences at 56.
Professor Wakil who was born ON May 15, 1967, was employed by the nation’s Premier University on March 16, 1998.
She was admitted into the university to study Microbiology in 1989 and obtained her First Degree in 1992, M. Sc. and Ph.D. in 1997 and 2006, respectively.
Information gathered revealed that the deceased will be buried today according to the Islamic rites.
