As the University of Ibadan prepares for its 2020/2021 Academic Session due to commence on Monday, February 22, 2021, the Institution’s Management has announced the opening of registration portal for fresh students.
According to information available on the Institution’s website, the registration by the students would be completely online as lectures are also to be taken online as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The fresh students were enjoined to ensure proper registration. The information reads: “Please note that you will not be allowed to matriculate and therefore become a bona-fide student of this University, if you do not complete all the stipulated registration processes”.
They are also requested to visit the university website as the resources for a virtual orientation programme for the 2020/2021 session can be found on the University Learning Management System(LMS).
PrimeStarNews gathered that lecturers of the Premier University have undergone training on the transition to virtual teaching and learning and are prepared for the virtual classes to commence on Monday.
