Prof. Opeyemi Ajewole, alias Iroko, of the Department of Social and Environmental Forestry at the University of Ibadan (UI), has been assassinated in Ibadan by unknown gunmen.
It was stated that assailants went away with his car.
Speaking on the incident, the Oyo State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Adewale Osifeso, said, ”The matter is under investigation. Updates would be provided accordingly, please.”
