An unspecified number of motorists were kidnapped along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway on Friday, October 28, 2022.
It was gathered that the incident happened around Dominion University City of Faith, KM 24, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway and a Professor of the University of University of Ibadan (UI) was said to be among the victims.
The number of the motorists kidnapped could not be ascertained but some vehicles including a Jeep, a Toyota Camry Car and Sedan vehicle were said to have their doors wide open with no passengers in them at the scene of the incident.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Adewale Osifeso said investigation has commenced on the incident.
According to him, “Investigation has commenced. Updates would be provided accordingly, please.”
