The University of Ibadan (UI) has promoted two African scholars, Drs Sola Olorunyomi and Olaoluwa Senayon, both lecturing in the institution’s Institute of African Studies to full professors, dated back to 2018.
The information which was contained in the school bulletin dated November 10, 2023, and signed by the Registrar and Secretary to Council, G. O. Saliu, stated that the nation’s Premier University also promoted other scholars from different faculties and departments to full professors.
