The Management of the University of Ibadan (UI), has promoted the head of the institution’s Directorate of Communication, Adejoke O. Akinpelu to the position of Deputy Registrar.
The other staff promoted to the cadre are T. G. Bankole, A. R. Omisore, M. A. Raji, O. Dairo, Ruth Adeyinka, and Benedicta Akpanuko.
According to a statement signed by the institution’s registrar, G. O. Saliu, the Appointments and Promotions Committee for Non-Teaching Staff approved the appointments/promotions of other 19 non-academic staff.
Those that were promoted to the rank of Senior Deputy Registrar are T. I. Musa, I. A. Akinbola, Stella O. Soola, and M. A. Adewumi.
In the bursary department, S. O. Olojede, Oluwakemi A. Ajayi, and A. O. Abimbola were promoted to the rank of Senior Deputy Bursar, and A. A. Adeagbo, I. O. Popoola, Rachael Ojelade, O. O. Aloba, and O. Akanwo were promoted to the rank of Deputy Bursar.
Others promoted are Gbemisola O. Lai-Folorunso, J. O. Ayanboye, and O. Omomogbe, Chief Executive Officers, J. O. Olorunsaye, Chief Library Officer, Olufadekemi Akinfe, Senior Chief Technologist, Agnes Fabowale, Assistant Director of Nursing Service, and Racheal A. Osasona, Chief Personal Secretary.
