An activist against the social menace of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBTQ), identified as Veryblackman has called on the Federal Government of Nigeria to emulate President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin of Russia to criminalise LGBTQ and has demanded the arrest of a controversial Nigerian popular crossdresser and transgender, Okuneye Idris Olanrewaju, popularly known as Bobrisky within seven days.
Veryblackman, in a short video he uploaded on his Twitter page said that he would turn to a crossdresser and would be visiting the female restroom to see women’s nakedness particularly, Hajia, Muslim women.
Before and after of Okuneye Iddris Olanrewaju
Speaking in Pidgin English, Veryblackman said, “If you don’t arrest Bobrisky, I’d turn to a cross-dresser since you’ve said being a cross-dresser is not a problem.”
Alleging that if men in government are not patronising Bobrisky, the Nigerian authorities would not have turned a blind eye to the wrong and the immorality Bobrisky is engaging in and corrupting the society.
He alleged that the Western world is funding LGBTQ in Nigeria adding that all hands need to be on deck to stop the social menace.
He explained, “There is somebody in power who is sleeping with Bobrisky. If not, why is the government turning a blind eye to the wrong and immorality Bobrisky is engaging in? There is a law that says that we should all act following the rule of law and Bobrisky has broken this law in different patterns. I want to have children and I know that there are many many who want to have children. The likes of Bobrisky, who don’t want to have children will come on social media to destroy our generation and you don’t want us to talk.”
“To the Nigerian police and the government, if you don’t arrest Bobrisky, my next move will make you arrest me. You say cross-dressing and transgender is not a crime, all of us will turn to cross-dressing. As a woman he is supposed to use the women’s bathroom, why is he using the men’s bathroom? Now that you are saying that cross-dressing is not a crime, I will wear women’s clothes and go to the Shoprite bathroom, women’s section. I will sit there to watch women’s nakedness. I want to know how women feel. They can’t do anything because that man is now a woman. I will enter the bathroom with Hajia as a girl. That is when you know that all of us are turning mad in Nigeria. You people will be forced to enact laws against transgender and crossdressing. If you want to follow the law of man, what happens to the law of God? The executive of Nigeria will be forced to uphold the law”, he added.
