The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) has announced the arrival of 269 stranded Nigerians from India under the special evacuation process put in place by the Federal Government due to the coronavirus pandemic.
In a tweet announcing their arrival, NIDCOM stated that they landed today Saturday June 13 2020 around 2am, after a few hours of delay.
It was also stated that all the evacuees (103 in Lagos, 166 in Abuja) have commenced the 14 day self Isolation measure according to the new Protocol governing arrivals in the country.
It would be recalled that another 102 Nigerians arrived yesterday from Egypt.
