Ebun Olowu
A 33 year old, Nigerian medical doctor, Dr Valentine Egbadon, who was an active participant during the #EndSARS protest, has died.
There are speculations that he may have died from COVID-19 infection.
Known as Dr Val (@ehival), he was one of the doctors that treated injured victims during the Lekki shooting on October 20, 2020.
It was gathered that he treated #EndSARS protesters for free and was until his death a staff at Primefort Hospital, Agungi, Lagos Island.
Announcing the tragic incident, the Nigerian Medical Association, Lagos State Branch, described his death as “sunset at dawn”,
On August 29, 2020, he had tweeted, “I’m gonna be an awesome mad ass Surgeon.. I’m gonna train myself like an athlete.. Train myself to beat record time. Do surgery effortlessly in minimal time spent. My skills would be second to none with 99% success rate. This on God I promise.. So help me God”.
