One Frederick Odorige, has lodged a complaint of police brutality to the Nigeria Police, demanding an investigation into the violation of human rights of an unidentified man being clubbed to submission for arrest.
The man, in a video currently trending is asking the police authority to investigate the brutality unleashed on a man, stripped by some policemen and was being hit with their batons.
Odorige wrote on Twitter, “These are the animals and terrorists recruited into the Nigerian police force. Keep provoking Nigerians endlessly. Kill him and lie to us that he was trying to take your guns from you. That is why most of you don’t end well because of curses”.
In a swift reaction, the police complaint unit has demanded detailed information about the incident, saying, “Kindly provide more detail (locations) concerning this video, possibly the police station or the units that the officers in this trending video are attached to so as to bring the erring officers to justice”.
