Senator Buruji Kashamu, who represented Ogun East at the 8th Senate Assembly was today buried at 12:55pm at his Ijebu-Igbo country home.
Kashamu died yesterday at 62 at First Cardiology Consultants in Lagos State of complications from COVID-19.
However, the protocol regarding Covid-19 relating to social distancing and use of face masks was defiled by the teeming mourners as they thronged in hundreds to pay their last respects to the departed senator.
The large crowd attempted to touch the vehicle the remains of the senator as he was taken for burial.
