A Nigerian comedian, Babatunde Usman, popularly known as Okele has been hospitalised for an unknown ailment.
Bringing this to the knowledge of Nigerians was a close friend of the hospitalised Nollywood actor, Eyiun Saliu Gbolagade, who uploaded a video of his friend in a critical state in the hospital.
In a short speech, Gbolagade stated that the video was not uploaded on social media to solicit for financial assistance, rather to let people see with their eyes that Okele is critically ill and currently receiving treatment in an undisclosed hospital.
He said, “I did not do this video to solicit for money for Okele but I want to establish it to our colleagues that Okele has not been acting because he is sick. It is bad to claim that Okele is lying with illness. I don’t want to say that Okele is in a critical stage but we should be thanking God.
He prayed for his quick recovery.
