In his farewell sermon titled, “Waiting on Jesus”, Brother John Musgrave from the church headquarters in Portland Oregon, USA, emphasised the significance of waiting upon the Lord Jesus Christ no matter how long, stressing that the rewards of waiting for Jesus are salvation, sanctification, baptism of Holy Spirit, divine healing, supplies of all need and answer to prayers.
Guided by John 5: 2-3, Musgrave pointed out that nobody, including himself likes waiting because of the stress attachment but it is rewarding because all that wait for Jesus would be blessed at the end of the day.
Liking Christians to a certain man at the pool of Bethesda, the preacher said that no Christian could do anything about his condition, but God has a remedy for all problems, adding that without God, Christians could not do anything for themselves.
He admonished Christians to get rid of all excuses and just do what God ask them to do, assuring that Christ in Apostolic Faith answers all requests and grants the heart desires of genuine Christians to the glory of Almighty God.
