YEMEN Court controlled by the country’s Iran-linked Houthi rebels, siting in Sana has sentenced four detained journalists to death and jailed six others.
Quoting Right Advocate, which condemned the judgement, News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) said that the court found the journalists guilty of spying.
According to the head of the Geneva-based rights group SAM, Tawfiq al-Humeidi, the judgement “marks a very serious development against the press and journalists in Yemen”.
